Our Heart ‘n’ Hands quilters hand craft dresses and blankets that are given out to families around the world, from disaster relief efforts to foster children to retired elders in the church. They work all year to touch countless lives.
Tuesdays at 9AM-12PM
The Heart n’ Hand Quilters meet each Tuesday from 9AM-12PM. The third Tuesday of each month includes a meeting to handle the business at hand. Devotions, prayer and a time of sharing with coffee and treats are enjoyed as we make plans for the days ahead as well as for our annual boutique held on the last Saturday of October. The proceeds from the boutique help replenish the quilting supplies.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to make quilts for Lifeline Pregancy Center, foster care children, Boise Women’s Shelter and, also for Hands of Hope where all of the quilts are distributed to world relief. Each visiting missionary speaker receives a quilt as well. Smaller quilted items are made throughout the year for the boutique.
New members at any stage of quilting/sewing ability are always welcome.
